WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

There are two main types of information that we collect from our users. The first type is called “personally identifiable information” and represents data that can be used to personally identify you. It includes information such as (but not limited to) name, surname, email address, date of birth, gender, mailing address, postal code, etc. The second type is called “non-personally identifiable information” and refers to that information which is automatically collected by our servers when you access the services. We will discuss both data types in detail.

Personally identifiable information

Personally identifiable information is collected only when you send our team an email and when you leave a comment on an article. The information we request is your name and email address.

We request this information solely to reply to your messages. If you don’t want to use your real name,  you can provide a pseudonym instead.

You can send us a message at contact@surveyassistants.com if you would like us to remove your personally identifiable information from our database. We will remove it in maximum 30 days after we have received your message.

Non-Personally Identifiable Information

Aside from the personal information you willingly provide, there is also non-personally identifiable information that is automatically received and recorded by our servers. This information includes, but is not limited to: the type of device that you are using to access the services, manufacturer details, web browser type, ISP information and details, IP information, IP address, cookie information, and many others.

We also collect certain information pertaining to your online activities before and after visiting our site, such as the means in which you interact with third-party websites, how and if you click on advertisements and what type of advertisements peak your interest, as well as the manner in which you engage with other online services and features. At present, there is still no consensus regarding the treatment of browser-based DNT (do not track) mechanisms. As such, SurveyAssistants does not currently respond to DNT signals.

HOW IS THAT INFORMATON USED, STORED AND DISCLOSED?
